The St. Louis American Advertising Awards
What are the American Advertising Awards?Welcome to the largest and most representative competition in the advertising industry, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local Ad Club competitions. It’s our mission to recognize and reward creative excellence in advertising. |
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local Ad Club phase is the first stage of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win an ADDY Award–recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of fifteen district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. Entry in the St. Louis Ad Club competition is the first step toward winning a national award.
The AAF and its local and district affiliates use proceeds from the American Advertising Awards to support our industry through programs such as public service, internships, advocacy groups, advertising education and consumer awareness.
Win this WayWhen you enter the American Advertising Awards, your every submission is judged by a panel of industry luminaries against a detailed scoring criteria. A GOLD ADDY recognizes the highest level of creative excellence and is awarded to only the most outstanding work in a category. A SILVER ADDY is awarded to any entry considered outstanding and worthy of recognition by the judges. The number of SILVER ADDY awards given in each category is determined by the judges, based on the relative quality of entries in that category. |
